Although far from a pedestrian collection of photographs, my photographs are taken from a pedestrian point of view. And with an iPhone. And surprisingly, with very few exceptions the images are untouched by effects, and layers.
These photographs celebrate modern humanity and record the vibrance of city life - its architecture, geometry, colors, pulse - through the momentary reflection in its glass windows.
My work is like jazz. Each image comes alive through a combination of elements, separately or together: the time of day, angle of sun, the color and quality of the glass, surface heat and length of shot, interior colors, exterior motion, lines and space of subjects, people, displays, height, reflection and of course how clean the glass. The images are fleeting. Coming together one day and disappearing the following day.
