"Deborah Northey lives with her husband in Chester County, Pennsylvania. The inspiration for her impressionistic oil paintings comes from the beautiful country side she sees every day and the extensive East Coast sailing adventures she and her husband have experienced.
She has been in numerous juried shows and belongs to several art associations in the local area and in Philadelphia."

"There is some beautiful scenery out there. I usually choose the scene or landscape that catches my eye. Could be the color, the stillness, the time of day, or the beauty of it all, that can stop me in my tracks. We are fortunate to have such beauty around us."
